Embedding a RemoteSpy SpyModule into a MS Word Document with Icon Changer

This guide will lead you through the 7 steps to stealthly place your spy-module inside of a MS Word document and choose it's full file name and icon picture for sending via e-mail attachment.

NOTE: This spy software guide can also be closely followed for usage with MS WordPad, but
NotePad is NOT compatible with this method of sending RemoteSpy.

Step 1:

Open Your MS Word software and create a new document.

Step 2:

Select the Insert Tab at the top, and select "Object" as shown above.

Step 3:

You will see a window pop up and select the "Create From File" tab. From there you can browse to select the location where you saved your module. Make sure to check the "Display as icon" box. Then click "Change icon".

Step 4:

You will see this window open and to chnage the icon click the "Browse..." button.

Step 5:

Once you have clicked the "Browse..." button you will see several files and folders. Select the file named "shell32.dll". This file will give you several different icons to choose from. You may also choose an icon from any application.

Step 6:

As shown above you can choose any icon. For this guide we chose a common picture icon. Also remember to change the caption, the caption will appear under the icon in the word document. Be creative and choose any caption.

Step 7:

Once you have completed the icon change and created a caption you should end up with something that looks very similar to what we have here. Just remember to save your word document and attach to an email.
